The Customer is one of the leading quality certification company in Germany and a major player in
Asia Pacific.
The customer had a lot of limitations in Auditors schedule management, work flow management
and MIS reports in its existing audit operations. Another major hurdle was each country or region
had its own audit management application and an integrated view of the audit operations was
difficult to prepare and also had a lot of erroneous data. The challenge was to develop an end to
end audit management suite capturing the complete workflow involved in various types of audit
operations. Also the application data from all the 9 countries audit operations should be available
for MIS, providing a holistic view of the Asia Pacific audit operations.
Our solutions
The audit management system was developed as a web based application with a regional server
located in each country. All the regional server databases were interconnected and get
synchronized with the Central Server located in Germany. The regional servers would also work
offline catering only to that country's audit operations during network connectivity problems.

The customer has been able to streamline its audit operations and also track and plan the pending
audits and recertification audits for the certified companies within the acceptable timelines The
effort spent by the auditors in planning and tracking the audit has been reduced substantially. The
MIS team is spending just a fraction of the time spent earlier in generating the country wide and
Asia Pacific region wise audit tracking, audit planning and audit costing reports resulting in
immediate availability of critical input data for the management team.
